The Near North Mobile Media Lab and North Bay Film Festival are working on a 48-hour film competition and thanks to generous sponsorship from Theia Productions, the winning team will now receive a first-place prize of $500.
This award enhances the competition's appeal and adds an extra layer of excitement for participants says a news release. The festival has also extended the registration deadline to November 2, providing filmmakers with more time to secure their spots.
"We're excited to offer this significant prize and extend our registration deadline," said Sharon Switzer, Executive Director of the Near North Mobile Media Lab. "It's a fantastic opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their creativity."
The 48-Hour Film Competition is scheduled for November 3-5 in North Bay.
