Local businesses in downtown North Bay are coming together for a fun and interactive event aimed at boosting community engagement and supporting small businesses during a traditionally slow season. The North Bay Downtown Scavenger Hunt, happening Friday, February 28th, and Saturday, March 1st, invites residents to explore downtown, discover new shops, and enter for a chance to win over $1,200 in gift cards and prizes.
Included in the Grand Prize is a year of free smoothies from Blendz, two tickets to The Umbilical Brothers show at the Capitol Centre, a VR Escape Room package for 4 people at Northern Tikes, and so much more.
The event is organized by Joel Arndt, Mortgage Agent Level 2 with Sherwood Mortgage Group Inc., Cheryl Raney and Victoria Hamilton, Realtors with Century 21 Blue Sky Region, and Amber Livingstone of Downtown North Bay & Waterfront.
“This is a slow time for many local businesses, so we want to support them as best we can,” says Joel Arndt. “Some businesses will have discounts or coupons for anyone who comes in during the event as well. This is a fun excuse to walk into a shop you may not have thought to check out before. And of course, a great chance to win quite the shopping spree downtown!”
How It Works:

Pick up a Scavenger Hunt card at any participating business.
