PHARA Community Services recently honored Motion for 40 years of dedicated service in the mobility and accessibility industry. A special commemorative plaque was presented to Motion by PHARA, recognizing their ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities across the region.

"Motion has been a wonderful community partner and has helped PHARA to continue to provide the Assistive Devices Program free of charge for everyone, “ said Mike Van der Vlist, PHARA CEO. “We congratulate them on 40 years in business and look forward to continuing our partnership."

Motion and PHARA have worked together for years, ensuring that community members in need receive essential mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, free of charge through PHARA’s Assistive Devices Program. This initiative allows to access equipment without financial burden, reinforcing PHARA’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

During a recent event, PHARA surprised Motion with a special recognition plaque to commemorate their 40 years of service and their invaluable contributions to the community. The event served as an opportunity to celebrate Motion’s impact on individuals with disabilities and highlight the strength of their partnership with PHARA.

Pat Lynch, Regional Manager at Motion, expressed his appreciation for the unexpected recognition.

“We were surprised by PHARA, and very appreciative of being recognized for our contributions to the community,” shared Lynch. “PHARA and Motion have partnered for years now, and it has served both organizations well in helping us better support our community.”
