To the editor:
Sometimes, things work out better than you'd hope.
Back in May, I sent a letter to BayToday insisting that the people of North Bay deserve better from their movie-going experience. And Cineplex agreed.
Since that letter's publication, my family and I have been in direct contact with people at Cineplex, and have been working to improve viewing conditions for paying customers at Galaxy Cinemas.
I am quite excited to say that this has been a success. Sound and lighting have been improved and corrected across multiple screening rooms. As someone with no professional affiliation with Cineplex, it brings me such joy to say that anyone can now choose a movie across any of Galaxy Cinema's seven screens to find an almost equally great audio-visual experience.
Personally, I have had a blast seeing movies this past weekend.
I would like to thank BayToday for helping me bring this to light, my family for their invaluable help and support, the readers of BayToday for keeping the conversation going, and of course, Cineplex for getting the job done.
I would say their game has been sufficiently upped.
