On March 24 at 9:09 a.m., officers of the Huntsville O.P.P. were conducting school zone patrols on Muskoka Rd 3 North when they observed a vehicle driving erratically.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the female driver. The interaction quickly evolved into a drug investigation and a passenger was arrested.
"During the interaction with the driver, it became apparent she was under the influence, and she was arrested for impaired driving," says a release. "The driver advised she had only consumed her own prescription medication recently. The driver was taken to a Drug Recognition Officer for drug testing."
Jennifer Barager, 41, of Huntsville, is charged with operation while impaired.
She will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 29.
The vehicle was impounded for 7 days, and the accused also had a 90 Administrative Driver's License Suspension.
Also charged is Sara Dexter, 29, of Huntsville. She is charged with;
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 29..
