A man wanted by North Bay Police appears to be trolling the local police service on social media.

Dustin Seddon, a 29-year old who they say unlawfully removed his ankle monitor boldly appeared to have posted a comment and shared the wanted ad on the North Bay Police Service Facebook Page about what appears to be him.

"Let me know if you see this guy, he is a menace," stated an account under the name Dustin R. Seddon.

Due to the ease of creating fake accounts on Facebook, the North Bay Police Service cannot confirm that it was their wanted man.

David Woolley, corporate communications officer with the North Bay Police Service says, while they cannot confirm the identity of the post, he admits he has not seen anything like this by a wanted individual in his time with the service.

  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance

While he appears to be friendly on social media, the North Bay Police believe Dustin Seddon is a dangerous person.

"He poses a safety risk to members of the public if confronted. If you see him, call 911, do not approach," the North Bay Police release stated.
