FOUR FOR BREAK & ENTER & ASSAULT
On the 9th of Aug. during the afternoon hours it is alleged that 4 males made their way to an apartment in the downtown area. Once there, they kicked in the door and a male occupant fled. The four then took property belonging to the victim and left the scene.
Det. Cst. Steve Trahan and Chris Johnson of the street crime unit of the North Bay Police Service attended and located all four males.
Kirk RANSOM 19 years old of McLeod St. is charged with Break and Enter and Theft and Assault.
Ryan TAFE 22 years old of Carlo Cr. is charged with Break and Enter and Theft, Possession of Prohibited Weapon (brass knuckles) and Assault.
Deaven MORRIS 18 years old of Landsdown Av. is charged with Break and Enter and Theft and Assault.
All 3 adults are to attend court on the 12th of Sept.
A 16-year-old male is also charged with Break and Enter and Theft and Assault as well as Breach of Probation. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
BREAK AND ENTERS
On the 8th of Aug. at approximately 3:30 AM, a lone male smashed the main door window of Macs Mart on Cassells St. He then proceeded to take several packages of cigarettes and put them in a white bucket and then left the store.
He is described as male, 6’ to 6’3 and was wearing a black ball cap, a white or grey long sleeve shirt and black pants. He was also wearing a white bandana over his face.
Sometime on the 9th of Aug. thieves broke a lock to a basement door of a home in the 600 block of McIntyre St. E. Once inside they stole a laptop computer, cash, a passport, a watch and some jewellery as well as other items.
