Police seek man considered a 'safety risk'

North Bay police were alerted that Dustin Seddon's ankle monitor had been unlawfully removed. Attempts to locate Seddon have been unsuccessful

The North Bay Police Service wants to locate 29-year-old Dustin Seddon.

On January 21 police were alerted that Seddon's ankle monitor had been unlawfully removed and attempts to find him have been unsuccessful.

Prior to his disappearance, Seddon was still before the courts on the following charges:

  • Dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm
  • Failure to stop after an accident
  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance
  • Eight counts of failing to comply with a probation order
  • Assault a Peace officer
  • Two counts of obstructing justice
  • Six counts of uttering threats
  • Criminal harassment
  • Two counts of fail to comply with a release order
  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Mischief
  • Intimidation of a justice participant

"Police believe Dustin Seddon poses a safety risk to members of the public if confronted," says a news release."If you see him, call 911, do not approach."
