The NBYVC Lakers 14U Girls "Blue" volleyball team finished with a silver medal this weekend in Sudbury. They went undefeated in pool play downing both Reach Spark and Northern Chill Ice Storm. They went on to win their cross-over game in two sets and defeated the Orillia Suns in a fierce 3 set battle to win the semi-final.
They met up with Reach Spark again in the Championship Final and lost a close match to win silver. The team played with heart, grit and determination all day and are looking forward to Provincials at the end of April.
