Minor Bantam

The North Bay & District Hopper Buick/GMC Minor Bantam AAA Trappers came away with five of a possible six points in a tough weekend series against the first place Nickel City Sons in Chelmsford.

On Saturday afternoon Masen Wray and Jesse Lefebvre supplied the scoring and Justin Robinson was solid in goal as the Trappers pulled out a 2-1 win.

With a short turnover, Heath Bradley's second goal late in the third period was the difference as the Trappers edged the Sons 4-3.  Jacob McGill and Masen Wray had the other goals in the win.  Mikey Purkhart made some key saves for the Trappers in the victory.

Sunday morning, a banged-up Trappers team pulled out a point in a tight-checking 0-0 draw against the Sons. Justin Robinson supplied the solid goaltending while recording a shutout.

Major Peewee

The North Bay & District Major Peewee AAA Trappers were looking to finish the 2019 calendar portion of the season strong as they met up with the Sudbury Wolves for a pair of games last Saturday.

On Saturday morning, the Trappers pulled off a 5-2 win.  Nicolas Corbeil, Hudson Priscoe-Duquette, Austin Oshell, Briir Long and Brant Romaniuk had the goals.
