The North Bay Youth Volleyball Club is looking to expand its membership and promote sports and sportsmanship through the development of volleyball in the City of North Bay and surrounding area.
Tryouts for teams in the North Bay Youth Volleyball Club are planned for mid-August. Girls and boys teams will be formed in each of 3 divisions: U14 (born in 1993 or later – Grade 8), U15 (born in 1992 or later – Grade 9) and U17 (born in 1990 or later – Grade 11).
John Jeffries, Director of Coaches and Player Development for the Club, indicates that once teams have been selected practices will take place at least once a week with each team slated to attend 3 Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) sanctioned tournaments and 1 Provincial Championship during the season that will run from October to April.
Registration forms will be distributed to area schools before the end of June and inquiries can be sent via email to: [email protected]
