Battalion defenceman Cam Dineen was selected 68th overall by the Arizona Coyotes.
The New Jersey native recorded 13 goals and 46 assists for 59 points in 68 regular season games.
Dineen believes the Coyotes got familiar with his game late this season when his defence partner Kyle Wood was traded from Colorado to the Coyotes.
"It’s a pretty crazy feeling I just don’t know how to describe it and I’m really excited and I’ve just got to take in the whole experience," Dineen said shortly after putting on the Coyotes jersey for the very first time.
Battalion defenceman Cam Dineen, ranked 117th in the mid term rankings, skyrocketed to 39th among North American rankings by NHL Central Scouting in the final set of rankings. That however, was only for North American Skaters.
