The Powassan Lions’ Club will host its annual Fish Fry on Wednesday June 21—the biggest event for the Powassan Lions’ Club.
The Fish Fry raises money to fund and help continue the good work the club contributes to the community.
"It’s a tremendous opportunity for area family members to get out and meet their neighbours as they assemble for a delicious and nutritious meal of pan-fried pickerel, baked potatoes, beans, salads, desserts, and beverages," says a news release.
In addition to a hearty meal, patrons can enjoy a beverage from the cash bar, purchase 50/50 tickets, and live music performed by the Blackbird Acoustic band.
This year’s Fish Fry is once again held at the Powassan Curling Club where its volunteers work alongside Lions’ club and community members to prepare the venue for the annual fundraiser.
Dinner will be served between 5 and 8 pm on Wednesday, June 21 at a cost of $25 per person.
