OutLoud North Bay will host the 2nd Annual Amazing Drag Race tomorrow.
This fundraising event will take place at the North Bay Waterfront and features live local music, a live drag show, local vendors, a skate jam, and a 5k charity walk/run.
Participants are encouraged to celebrate pride and dress in drag. Registration for the 5k walk/run is $25 and includes a swag bag with items sponsored by local businesses.
All proceeds from the event support operating costs, services, program supplies, snacks, cleaning supplies, and more for the space. Last year the event raised $30,000, and the goal this year is to raise $55,000.
OutLoud North Bay supports the health and well-being of the 2SLGBTQA+ youth and allies of North Bay and surrounding communities, through workshops, professional services, collaborations, and a safe space.
