Ontario’s newest multi-millionaire is from northern Ontario.
Grover Adams of Kirkland Lake matched seven out of seven numbers on his LOTTO MAX ticket to win the $15,000,000 jackpot from the April 20 draw.
Adams, a 60-year-old miner, said when he used the Ticket Checker at the store, he had to scan it three times before bringing it to the clerk to validate. “My heart was racing!”
The father of three said he plans to finally retire after 41 years and is looking forward to many fishing trips.
“I can’t believe I won – it’s so awesome!” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Government Road in Kirkland Lake.
