Diane Corriveau is back, eager to serve the Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord (CSCFN) as a new trustee.
Ronald Demers, the Chair of the CSCFN board said, “The political table is delighted to be working with Mrs. Diane Corriveau once again, as all members will benefit from her vast experience. She will certainly contribute to the advancement of French-language Catholic education, as well as to the realization of CSCFN's mission and vision in her role as school board trustee.”
Corriveau is no stranger to role of trustee. She held the position for almost 20 years, from 2004 to 2022. During that time, she also served as president for five years.
The board emphasized in a release, “Mrs. Corriveau has always represented Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord, students and their families, staff and communities with pride and distinction to the various partners, associations, and stakeholders in the French-language Catholic education sector.”
The Director of Education at CSCFN, Serve Levac, was also pleased with the board’s appointment. Levan noted, “Mrs. Corriveau has always been recognized for her commitment to promoting Catholic values, Franco-Ontarian culture, academic success, and student well-being. It is with great pleasure that we welcome her to our team of trustees for the next two years.”
Corriveau was appointed to fill a vacant position, and will hold the role until the next board elections, to be held in October, 2026. She represents the South-East sector of the board’s territory.
