$1.6 Million for North Bay to Build More Homes Faster

The money will go to support the Metcalfe Street reconstruction and connection project

The Ontario government will spend $1,632,500 in critical infrastructure to facilitate the construction of up to 880 new homes in North Bay says a news release issued today.

The funding is being delivered through the Housing-Enabling Core Servicing Stream under the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program.

The money will go to support the Metcalfe Street reconstruction and connection project,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “This project will unlock more housing opportunities and support economic growth in the city.”

"This project will assist in providing critical infrastructure components to create affordable housing options that are needed in North Bay," said Mayor Peter Chirico.
