Sadly ALS can strike anyone anytime....with the average age being only 57. ALS still remains to be cured or treated. Over 1,200 people across Ontario are battling ALS including over 50 families here in the north.
Sadly along with Mauril Belanger, the Mayor of Nipissing, Pat Haufe has also recently been diagnosed with ALS and wants to spread the word.....
Brigitte Labby is the Regional Manager, Northeastern Ontario.
