Youth charged with possession of stolen property

On the 22nd of Aug. it is alleged that jewellery was stolen from a house party in North Bay. It is further alleged that the thief then gave some of the jewellery to a friend.

On the 28th of Aug. a 17 year old male youth was seen wearing some of this stolen property and Cst. Helene Boissonneault of the North Bay Police was called.

The youth has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
