L’Arche, founded by Jean Vanier, is a faith-based organisation creating homes and day programs with people who have developmental disabilities. L'Arche is committed to creating an open, inclusive and compassionate Canadian society where every person is valued and can make a contribution.

Registration is at the Rotary Gazebo at 10 am with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by MP Anthony Rota, MPP Monique Smith and City Councillor Chris Mayne with the walk kicking off at 10:30 am.

Participants can enjoy entertainment as well refreshments will be served until 12:00pm.

Proceeds from the walk will go to building a wheel-chair accessible washroom at the Day Program at 590 Wyld Street.
