VIDEO: Halfway there for Northern Heights

Have a glimpse of the view from Northern Heights, perched astride the hill on Algonquin Avenue, as Sienna Senior Living and VanDel Construction mark the halfway point of construction

As the project enters the latter half of construction, dignitaries and stakeholders were invited to tour Northern Heights Care Community, the new home of the redeveloped Waters Edge Care Community (see photos and video above).

Located on the former McLaren site of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Sienna plans for Northern Heights to be a welcoming, modern long-term care home for 160 residents.

Hosted by Sienna Senior Living and VanDel Construction, residents, team members, provincial and local leaders and community partners signed a wall in the home’s Great Room to commemorate the significance of the new home, which will open its doors to residents in spring 2025.
