An accident at Tim Horton's at Seymour Ave and the bypass occured at about 2:15 pm Friday sending two people to the hospital.

An older man driving a blue 2007 Subaru Forester had just placed an order at the Tim Horton’s drive thru when the vehicle accelerated through the drive thru.

The SUV then struck an unattended 2013 Mazda M3. The SUV then drove over a curb; through a chain link fence and dropped about 10 ft onto the rock embankment right beside the highway 11 traffic.

The driver of the SUV has been cleared medically at this time while his female companion is still receiving medical attention.
