Trout Lake boater charged with impaired

A North Bay man has been charged for impaired operation of a vessel after being stopped on Trout Lake.

Just after noon on July 20,  OPP were conducting marine patrols on Trout Lake.

Daniel Ballard, 40, of North Bay is charged with "Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)."

The accused's driver's licence was suspended for 90 days and is scheduled to appear at the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice on August 27.
