SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA

BULLETIN ISSUED AT: 12:13 PM EDT MONDAY 29 MAY 2006 RADAR SHOWS AN AREA OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING EASTWARD THROUGH THE ABOVE REGIONS AT 50 KM/H.

THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

A cold front from Manitoba will give potential for severe thunderstorms over portions of northwestern Ontario this afternoon and evening.

The main threat will be damaging winds and large hail.

Meanwhile an active warm front will give potential severe weather over the above portions of northeastern Ontario.

These storms will have potential for damaging winds and large hail and even the risk for an isolated tornado.

This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.

If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.

Radar shows an area of strong to severe thunderstorms moving eastward through the above regions at 50 km/h.

These storms are capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.
