Thieves target planning mill in Trout Creek

Trout Creek - The Powassan OPP is investigating yet another break, enter and theft that occurred at the Trout Creek Planning Mill over the weekend in which two generators were stolen.

In less than two months, the Trout Creek Planning Mill located at 76 Hwy 522 in Trout Creek, Ontario, has been victim to three break, enter and theft. Police are investigating this latest incident which occurred sometime between Friday August 31st and Tuesday September 4th, 2007. Thieves forced their way into the Trout Creek Planning Mill and made off with two (2) ETQ Red Diesel Generators which were on wheels, estimated at over $7000.

In July, thieves made off with two (2) desktop ACER computers, a 19” and a 20” monitor, valued at over $2,500. In August, thieves made off with a Stihl chainsaw, white and orange in color. Damages sustained in this break and enter was estimated at over $350.
