On the 26th of Aug. shortly after noon the occupants of a home on Welch St. saw a woman attend their driveway and begin to remove the licence plate from a vehicle.

The occupants approached her and were allegedly attacked by this woman as she used the licence plate as a weapon.

Cst. Penny Kerr and Aaron Northrup of the North Bay Police attended the scene and arrested the woman in question.

Catherine ROTAR 39 years old of Princess St. W. is charged with 3 counts of Assault With a Weapon and Assault. She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
