Recent milder weather and rain has led to the temporary closure of the new skating path behind the CP station, Heritage North Bay officials say.

The path was closed today because the ice has reached a delicate state and further use or maintenance would harm it.

Heritage North Bay volunteer coordinator Gail Green says
the organization is hoping to reopen the path early next week.
