Sexual assault arrest

A 50-year-old North Bay man has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman he knows.

The North Bay Police Service says the assault took place
between Feb. 7 and 14, and that female victim later reported these incidents (criminal harassment) to Det. Cst. Ray Yelle and Det. Cst. Tina Murphy, of the investigative section.

Police arrested the man yesterday.

Emil Iliescu, of Main Street W is charged with sexual assault and criminal harassment. He is scheduled to attend court April 12.
