The Ride for Jack was considered "Epic" according to organizer Mark Lyons.
"People showed up in droves and it was unbelievable," he said.
The third annual Ride For Jack charity ride took place on Saturday at the Boat Launch at 1016 McPherson Drive in Corbeil and they brought in record numbers in 2025.
Lyons says even one participant bought a fat bike Friday night to participate and she told him afterwards it was one of the best charity events she has ever attended.
That makes all the hard work so satisfying for organizers like Mark Lyons.
"At the very end, we finally signed up 91 and I look back on my notes and that's 65 two years ago, 65 last year, and over 90 riders this year, it is an amazing feat for what we put into it," he said.
Lyons credits Connie Hergott and Rod Bilz from the North Bay Mountain Bike Association for supporting the charity event.
Lyons says by Monday morning, the fundraising count was around $13,000 which is over the fundraising total from last year.
The funds raised will go towards One Kids Place summer camp programs for children and teens with autism.
"This event has just paid for one month of summer camps," said Lyons.

The ride honours Jack Lyons, a North Bay teen with autism who passed away in April of 2022.
Mark Lyons loved when Jack could ride on his fat bike, which makes this event so special for the Lyons family.
The fundraising numbers are good news in 2025, as Lyons admits they did not reach their fundraising goal in 2024.
