This coming Saturday the 19th of April from 9:30 AM to 6 PM there will be a motorcycle display at Northgate Mall near the Future Shop area.

Here our representatives will advise the public on our upcoming charity ride on the 14th of June.

The charity ride will raise funds for Prostate Cancer research and education.

The North Bay Police Association and it’s members are proud to be associated with the Ride For Dad event coming up this June 14th here in North Bay.

Ride For Dad is a national organization that promotes awareness of prostate cancer and of getting regular medical examinations.

On this day, motorcycle riders will assemble at Canadian Tire on McKeown Av. and from there we will have a Police escorted parade to Lee Park by the Lake Nipissing waterfront.

Here, riders will form up in smaller groups and head off for a 100 to 150 kilometre ride. Upon their return there will be a meal at the West Ferris Legion.
All of the funds raised will go towards Prostate Cancer research and education.

This national organization is always associated with a local police association with sponsorship from local media and retailers.

Ottawa had over 1600 riders last year and the Orillia ride had several hundred.

We are hoping that with time the Nipissing Ride For Dad event will be one of the biggest in the area.

The first 200 pledge registrants will receive a goody bag including a meal voucher.

You can download pledge forms off of our web site at www.MotorcyleRideforDad.org.
