OPP Media Release

A partially decomposed body was found on the shore of Montreal Island approximately 20 kilometers north of Montreal River.
On Sunday November 12th Superior East OPP, Wawa were called after a Kayaker from Wisconsin reported finding a body on the shore of the island.
Police were flown onto the island by OPP Helicopter to investigate further. The gender or identity of the body can not be confirmed at this time. A Post Mortem will be held to assist in determining cause of death and identity of the deceased.
