Reports indicate that CAW Local 103 employees at Ontario Northland have voted an overwhelming 96.7% in favour of a strike.
Contract talks between the union and Ontario Northland executives broke down last week, and the 420 workers have been without a collective agreement since December.
A meeting between the union and ONR execs is slated today at the Best Western in an eleventh hour effort to reach an agreement before the strike deadline noon Friday.
