On the 1st of Jan. at approximately 2:30 AM it is alleged that a female was leaving a New Year’s Eve party with stolen articles from other guests.

She was confronted by a male that was known to her.
It is then alleged that this female struck the male acquaintance in the eye and made good her escape with the stolen property. This resulted in an injury that caused blurred vision and broken blood vessels.

Csts. Jason Long and Barry MacIntosh of the North Bay Police received the call and attended the scene. A few hours later the suspect was located at her residence and arrested. The property was recovered.

Justine ELSE 20 years old of Champlain St. is charged with 4 Counts of Theft Under, Assault Causing Bodily Harm and 4 Counts of Possession of Stolen Property. She is to attend court on the 17th of Feb.
