Northgate Shopping Centre parking garage still under repairs

'Routine maintenance and repairs are being conducted on the parking garage'

The upper levels of the Northgate Shopping Centre parking garage continue to be closed as repairs continue on the upper levels.

Back in October of 2022, Northgate Shopping Centre announced that the upper levels of the parking garage would be closed until the summer of 2023 due to repairs.

Last summer, BayToday asked for a follow-up with the upper levels of the parking garage closed.

Back then, Shaun Harcus, general manager at Northgate Shopping Centre,  told BayToday's Stu Campaigne, "Northgate Shopping Centre’s parking structure is structurally sound."

With the levels still closed in June of 2024, Harcus added that work on the site continues.

"Routine maintenance and repairs are being conducted on the parking garage," Harcus said.

"Certain sections of the garage will be intermittently closed.

"To ensure minimal disruption, the project will be carried out in multiple phases."

Harcus says guests and tenants have access to ample parking around the property.
