NBPS: Verbal threats lead to charges

Police say the accused attended the public transit terminal on Oak Street West in North Bay, and while at the location, the accused verbally threatened a victim

The North Bay Police Service reports it has arrested and charged a 35-year-old female with uttering threats after an incident.

On July 9, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., police say the accused attended the public transit terminal on Oak Street West in North Bay, and while at the location, the accused verbally threatened a victim. Police were contacted and attended the location. Members of the North Bay Police Service located the accused at
the scene and arrested her.

The accused in this incident is Tamara Hancock, female, age 35, who is charged with:

  • One count of causing a disturbance
  • One count of uttering threats

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
