Missing Forrestry Worker Near White River

Person still missing near White River

(White River, Ontario) – Superior East OPP are continuing their search for 26-year-old Aju Iroaga [shown] of Scarborough.

Police have been searching since May 15th when A&M Reforestation had reported Mr. Iroaga missing.

OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine Unit and OPP Helicopter Unit have been assisting Superior East OPP.

It's possible that Mr. Iroaga may have left the area as police believe he was in the process of quitting his job and arrangements had been made with A&M Reforestation to transport him back to White River, 70 kilometres south of the work location.

Police will assess the situation daily to determine how much longer the search continues.

Police are asking the public to call 1-888-310-1122 if they have any information that may assist in finding Mr. Iroaga.
