Kapuskasing - On the 1st of September 2007 members of the Kapuskasing Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police began looking for a missing 14 year old female that had left the residence of her parents earlier in the day and had not returned home. It was believed at the time of her disappearance that the youth had run away from home and was in the company of a 17 year old male that resides in the United States.

On the 3rd of September 2007 in the early morning hours Police officers from the Greater Sudbury Police Service located the youth in the Sudbury area.

The 14 year old youth has been returned safely to her parents. A 17 year old male is currently in custody and under investigation for his involvement in this case.

Kapuskasing - On the 1st of September 2007 members of the Kapuskasing Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police began looking for a missing 14 year old female that had left the residence of her parents earlier in the day and had not returned home. It is believed at this time that the youth has runaway from home and is in the company of a 17 year old male that resides in the United States.

The missing youth is known as Sara JONES and is described as - 14 year old female, 5'3", white, slim build, 115 lbs, shoulder length brown or blonde hair last seen wearing long sleeve pink t-shirt and blue jeans.

The subject that she may be in the company of is described as - 17 year old African American male, 5’ 7”, slim build wearing designer clothing, red ball cap and carrying a backpack.

Information on possible destinations would be Timmins, Sudbury, Toronto, Niagara Falls or the United States.

Anyone with information as to their whereabouts or has observed them in the past few days is urged to contact their local police department or the Ontario Provincial Police Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122
