Milk truck takes a spill on Highway 63

The Highway, east of North Bay was closed for eight hours as emergency crews worked at the scene

OPP say Highway 63 is back open after a tanker truck full of milk rolled over on a curve near Songis Road around 7 p.m. yesterday.

The Highway, east of North Bay was closed for eight hours as emergency crews worked at the scene.

Only minor injuries are reported and police say Highway Traffic Act charges are pending for the driver who was taken to the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

The tanker began to leak milk as a result of the crash, prompting a clean-up directed by the Ministry of Environment. Expect delays today as clean up crews will have one lane shut down
