Literacy volunteers crack 10,000 hours

Thank you very much to our amazing volunteers who have contributed 10,820 volunteer hours for the year ending March 31, 2008 helping 141 adults in our community improve their reading, writing, spelling, math and computer skills. These volunteer hours translate into approximately $162,300 worth of services that have been reinvested in our community.

We appreciate all the hard work of our volunteer tutors, Board members, office volunteers and everyone else that helps us achieve our mandate and mission. We could not do it without your continued dedication. We also thank everyone who contributed to us financially to help us continue to provide our quality literacy services.
