Lafrance PSA charges formally stayed

Police Act charges against Cst. Christi Lafrance have been formally stayed, pending the outcome of her criminal matter.

They were stayed today at a hearing at North Bay Police Service headquarters at the recommendation of the prosecutor in the case.

Lafrance has been charged with assault, and the PSA charges are related to the matter.

Her PSA hearing was to have been heard today, and she arrived at the police station with her lawyer Andrew Perrin.
