Gateway Helicopters has confirmed that Lake Nipissing is officially clear of ice on Tuesday, April 29th.
As you likely already know the North Bay residents have been watching the Lake Nipissing thaw date for years and many local residents hold Spring Thaw Pools where participants try to guess the day when the ice is gone for good.
