Hospital warns of gastro outbreak on 300 East

The North Bay General Hospital is advising of a gastro outbreak that has been declared on the 300 East unit of the McLaren site.

The cause of the outbreak is not known at this time; but patients affected are experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. The Hospital is working closely with the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit to contain the outbreak.

Restricted visitation is now in place for 300 East McLaren. Families of patients on this unit on asked to call the nursing station before coming to 300 East McLaren.
