The Kiwanis Club of North Bay has picked their citizen of the year local sport and recreation and legend Dave Saad.
Saad, the former city Manager of Tourism and Recreation, has a long history of service to the community with a number of accolades to his name including founding member of the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame, founding member of the North Bay Heritage Festival and member of the YMCA Board of Directors.
Saad will be celebrated with a dinner in his honour at the Clarion Pinewood Park on May 13th.
