The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit and Sport North Bay are challenging residents across the district to get moving and improve their health in the “Let’s get moving … for the health of it!” Challenge from May 17 to June 3.

Residents can take part in the Challenge by joining one of the many free or low-cost scheduled activities and then completing a ballot. Various community businesses and recreation facilities are providing active events for residents during the Challenge. The ballots will be available at all events for participants to complete for a chance to win prizes.

Participants can also walk, bike, play with their kids, play a sport, or create their own physical activity with family or friends. As well, many businesses and schools have organized activities for their staff and students.
