Burk's Falls, Ont.
Ontario Provincial Police officers in the Almaguin Highlands Crime Unit, with help from the Drug Enforcement Section North Bay and the North East Region Emergency Response Team, have seized 3,700 marijuana plants.

The seizure took place after the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Search Warrant at a Magnetawan area property.

During the execution of the warrant, police encountered two males on the property, both were arrested without incident and later released unconditionally at the scene.

An estimated street value $3.5 million of marijuana was seized.
