False allegations lead to charges

On the 9th of August it is alleged that a woman made an allegation to officers of the North Bay Police concerning her having been beaten up by a male that was known to her.

Cst. Jason Long of this Service commenced the investigation and on the 3rd of Sept. concluded that in fact the allegation was false and further that the female in question had instigated an argument with this same male and had allegedly thrown a bottle at him.

Erika VASS 30 years old of Fraser St. is charged with Public Mischief and Assault With a Weapon. She is to attend court on the 13th of Nov.
