Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay (CGB) is inviting all residents to participate in the Fall Community-Wide Cleanup on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21–22.

Residents are encouraged to choose any area in North Bay that they're passionate about cleaning — whether it's a neglected park, a littered street, or a polluted shoreline. For those looking to join a team, the CGB North Bay Facebook Group is a great way to connect with others who share the same goal of keeping the city beautiful.

CGB encourages participants to share their cleanup stories and photos on social media, tagging Clean Green Beautiful North Bay for a chance to win exciting prizes.

"Every corner of our city matters, and your efforts will have a lasting impact," said Terry Parolin, CGB litter pick-up lead.

Volunteers are encouraged to register at cleangreenbeautiful.com and review important safety guidelines before starting their cleanup. These guidelines provide essential tips on safe waste disposal, wearing protective gloves, and carefully handling any sharp or hazardous objects they may encounter.

Biodegradable bags can be ordered online for home delivery via cleangreenbeautiful.com. Alternatively, volunteers can stop by the CGB booth at the North Bay Farmers Market on Saturday, September 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to pick up their biodegradable bags in person. As a thank-you for their efforts in keeping North Bay beautiful, volunteers will also receive a complimentary seedling at the market (while supplies last).
