École Ste-Anne of North Bay is closed today because of an accidental power failure. This decision was made this morning after having noticed a power failure caused during the night by the snowplowing service.

According to Mr. Raymond Lessard, Director of Education for the Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord, all efforts are being made to reopen the school as soon as possible. Repairs are underway and the Board is confident that electricity will be restored to allow students to return to school tomorrow morning. Mr. Lessard wishes to thank Mariale’s entire school community for its patience and cooperation.

École Ste-Anne offers a quality education to approximately 190 students and remains an important part of North Bay’s francophone community.
