Near North Crime Stoppers and the Mattawa OPP Detachment are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a Mischief.

Sometime in mid-April, unknown culprits smashed the outside lights of the Mattawa Museum causing extensive damage. Damage to property around the Mattawa Museum has been an on-going problem. This was the second time the lights were smashed in a short period of time.

Crime Stoppers is a partnership of the public, police and media, which provides citizens with a proactive program to anonymously assist in solving crime and contributing to an improved quality of life in our community.

Near North Crime Stoppers is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to serve on an active Board of Directors. The Crime Stoppers organization is a busy group and is dependent on its volunteer board members for program promotion, fundraising etc.
