Near North Crime Stoppers and the Mattawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the following Theft of a portable saw mill, valued at $30,000.

Mattawa OPP is investigating an incident that occurred between the 20th + 21st of August 2007 in Papineau-Cameron Township near Mattawa, Ontario.

Sometime on the night of Monday the 20th of August or the morning hours of Tuesday 21st of August 2007, thieves attended a property just off Highway 17 outside of Mattawa and stole a Wood Miser Brand portable Sawmill, orange in colour. The sawmill was taken along with its trailer package, De-barker, Box blades and covers. The estimated worth of the entire set-up is $30,000.
